Maubin (south) natural gas field produces more than 10 million cubic feet of natural gas

Maubin (South) natural gas well No 1 launched its test production in April 2007 in Maubin (South) natural gas land, 1.5 miles south of Maubin, Ayeyawady Region.
At present, four wells produce 68 barrels of condensate and 10.803 million cubic feet of natural gas daily.
Deputy Minister for Energy U Aung Htoo together with officials of Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise viewed production of 36 barrels of condensate and 4.3 million cubic feet of natural gas from well No 5 drilled in December 2014. He also viewed boosting production of 28 barrels of condensate and 2.3 million cubic feet natural gas at No 7 well.
The deputy minister presented cash awards to workers and engineers. He then viewed drilling at No 9 well and preparations for drilling No 10 well.
