Medicines, medical supplies, basic foodstuffs sold at fairer prices in Yangon

Yangon Region government arranges to meet the needs of medicines in the region and to provide the medicines at fair prices to the people during the third wave of COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Myanmar Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Manufacturer Association (MPMDMA) designated the Myanmar International Trade Centre in Pabedan township of Yangon Region as the second location to convene the wholesale and retail distribution of medicines yesterday. During the event, 11 pharmaceutical companies sold K100,000 worth of 156 medicines and medical supplies.
The first exhibition of the essential medicines opened in Ahlon Township also sold medicines and related products worth over K60,000 on its 28th day, yesterday.
In addition, a mobile vehicle of the Myanmar Rice Traders Association under the guidelines of the Yangon Region government sold rice, cooking oils, foods, meat and fish in some townships of the region. — MNA
