MFF appoints Daw Thet Thet Win as Myanmar women’s team head coach

The Myanmar Football Federation has appointed Daw Thet Thet Win as the head coach of the Myanmar women’s national team on a two-year contract.
The former head coach of the Myanmar national women’s team, U Tin Myint Aung, parted ways after the 31st Viet Nam SEA Games held in May 2022.
After that, no head coach was appointed, and only now a new head coach has been appointed.
The Myanmar national women’s team won third place in the 2022 ASEAN Women’s Championship held in July 2022, and she was appointed as the permanent head coach due to her brilliant performance in the competition.
Daw Thet Thet Win became the first female head coach appointed in the history of the Myanmar national women’s team.
Myanmar national women’s team started training in December for international competitions to be held in 2023, and 35 preliminary players have been selected.
The women’s squad will compete in the 32nd Cambodia SEA Games, Paris Olympic Asian Zone Qualifiers, ASEAN Women’s Championship and other international competitions this year. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
