
A delegation led by Myanmar Football Federation President U Zaw Zaw, Vice President Sai Sam Htun, and General Secretary U Ko Ko Thein attended an AFC Executive Committee Meeting in Paris on Sunday.
At the meeting, MFF President U Zaw Zaw performed his duty as the AFC Deputy Chairman, discussing matters related to China’s application for hosting the AFC Asian Cup 2023, increasing the number of participating countries in the FIFA World Cup, and providing more funds for football development to AFC member countries. MFF President U Zaw Zaw also informally met with AFC President Sheikh Salman Bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa and the presidents of the football federations of Japan and Australia to discuss football development in Myanmar, according to the MFF’s Facebook page. — Kyaw Khin
