MFF discuss holding of youth football tourneys

Myanmar Football Federation held a coordination meeting at the headquarters of the MFF in Yangon yesterday afternoon to hold youth version football tournaments across the country in near future, according to the statement with the football federation.
U Min Hlaing, chairperson of the committee to hold youth football tournaments and committee members, U Ko Ko Thein, General Secretary of the Myanmar Football Federation and U Aung Naing Oo, Chief Operating Officer of the Myanmar National League and other football authorities attended the meeting.
During the coordination meeting, the officials discussed holding of U-14 youth football tournaments after getting permission from FIFA, to host women qualifiers of U-20 and U-17 in 2021, to hold youth football tournaments for boys and girls in different states and regions, to prepare and strengthen youth version tourneys of Myanmar National League. Football authorities also discussed on holding U-13 Girls Football Tournament, U-14 Boy’s Football Tournament and U-12 Boy’s Football Tournament as previous year’s programme, according to the MFF.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
