MFF discusses preparations for Myanmar National League

Football authorities from Myanmar Football Federation held a coordination meeting at the headquarters of the MFF on 6 August to focus on special preparations for Myanmar National League with Standard Operating Procedure, according to the MFF. MFF General Secretary U Ko Ko Thein, Myanmar National League CEO U Soe Moe Kyaw, and officials from MFF and MNL attended the meeting.
During the meeting, football authorities discuss football matters concerned with Myanmar National League matches holding by obeying the strict Standard Operating Procedure set up by the Ministry of Health and Sports. Officials also focused on restarting the Myanmar National League matches on 22 August 2020 if government gives permission to hold the matches within a couple of weeks, arrangements for the MNL football players to stay in the Team Camp to secure Camp Quarantine so as to prevent from the pandemic infections, to release detailed fixtures of the MNL matches to football fans when the government’s permission is received and to conduct swab tests for all the MNL players in line with the guidelines by the Ministry of Health and Sports, according to the Myanmar Football Federation.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
