MFVP leads in restoring flood-damaged farmlands

G1

Myanmar Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association (MFVP) will guide the recovery project of flood-inflicted fields with the support of EM Product donated by the EM-Research Organization (EMRO-Japan).
Heavy rainfall and floods devastated farmlands. Discussions on implementing the project were held at the MFVP on 23, 26 and 30 September. The project will commence in the worst flood-hit southern Shan State, Tatkon and Yamethin areas. Field tours to flood-stricken fields will start soon.
MFVP’s organic affairs committee, Myanmar Avocado Producers and Exporters Association (MAVO), Organic.com.mm and Team Circular & Farm will contribute to this project. — NN/KK
