Mid-Autumn Mooncake Festival held at Yangon’s Chinese Culture Centre

According to Chief Executive Officer Mr Liu Ying of the Bank of China (Yangon Branch), the Mid-Autumn Mooncake Festival was celebrated at the Chinese Culture Centre (Yangon) located in Ahlon Township on 14 September.
The event was organized by the Chinese Culture Centre (Yangon) and the Bank of China (Yangon Branch). The latter capitalized for the event, said Mr Liu Ying.
The festival features peace, reunion and prosperity according to Chinese culture.
The celebration of the mooncake festival was part of the formulation of “One Belt One Road” to promote mutual understanding and the nearing of the hearts of the People-to-People tie.
Counsellor Mr Li Qianguo of the Chinese Embassy, Mr Xiang Jiabo, who is in charge of the Chinese Culture Centre (Yangon), and Rector of Yangon University Dr Tin Maung Tun also attended the event. — ASH/TMT
