MIFER families donate foodstuffs to security forces

Officials look round the preparatory work for the ministry’s contributions to security forces who are making sacrifices for the State’s defence and security duties on the frontline yesterday.

Family members of the staff at the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations are arranging to provide cash and food to the security forces who are making sacrifices for the State’s defence and security duties on the frontline.
The Union minister and officials inspected staff members who were enthusiastically preparing food for the security forces. They provided 11 types of food, including 228 sacks of fried fish paste, 222 sacks of fried dried fish, 210 packages of coffee, 210 packages of Shwe Phee Oo tea mix, 2,000 cheroots, 210 packs of instant noodles, 210 packs of instant tea leaves, 200 packs of cookies, 200 packs of wafers, and 200 packs of Royal-D rehydrated salt. They also included a note with the best wishes: “Be Healthy, Be Safe, and May Victory be with the Righteous”.
The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations families donated K1,800,000 for food and K5,200,000 in cash, totalling K7 million. — MNA/TRKM
