MIFER Union Minister joins First High-Level Conference of Forum on Global Action for Shared Development, 2023 Workshop on Ocean Economy Development & Management

At the invitation of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), Dr Kan Zaw, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, left Yangon by flight yesterday morning to attend the First High-Level Conference of the Forum on Global Action for Shared Development, which will be held from 9 to 10 July in Beijing, and the 2023 Workshop on Ocean Economy Development and Management, which will be held on 12 July 2023, in Xiamen.
The Union minister and party were seen off by U Thant Sin Lwin, Director- General for the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, Dr Marlar Myo Nyunt, Director-General for the Foreign Economic Relations Department, officials from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Yangon, and the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations.
The Union minister was accompanied by Dr Aung Moe Chai, Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Economic Relations Department. — MNA
