Military delegation departs for Laos to attend 21st ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces Meeting

The Myanmar delegation led by Lt-Gen Soe Min Oo from the office of the Commander-in-Chief yesterday morning left for Laos People’s Democratic Republic to attend the 21st ASEAN Chiefs Of Defence Forces Meeting (ACDFM-21) on behalf of the State Administration Council Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
On arrival at Vientiane, the delegation met Lt-Gen Khamlieng Outhakaisone, Deputy Minister of National Defence of Laos, and discussed the enhancement of military ties and cooperation between the two defence forces.
Lt-Gen Soe Min Oo attended the dinner event hosted by Lt-Gen Khamlieng Outhakaisone at Latsavong Wanda Vista Hotel in the evening.
Myanmar Tatmadaw representatives, chiefs of ASEAN defence forces and their spouses, and representatives also attended the dinner event. — MNA/KTZH
