Military medical corps provide healthcare in township hospitals with no civilian doctors

Tatmadaw medical team seen providing healthcare services in township hospitals without civilian doctors.

The Tatmadaw medical teams consisted of Tatmadaw doctors, specialists, and nurses, have been providing necessary medical treatments to the patients in military hospitals and public hospitals.
The Tatmadaw medical team continued to provide healthcare services such as surgery, dental and oral healthcare, osteoporosis, obstetrics, gynaecology, hypertension and heart disease to the patients in Thazi Township Hospital, Hanza hospital, Yinmabin hospital, Tagaung Public Hospital in Thabeikkyin Township, Sintgaing hospital in Kyaukse township, Yintaw hospital in Pyawbwe township, Kyauktaga Public Hospital, Donzayit hospital in Shwegyin Township and Latpadan township hospital yesterday.
Upon the residents’ request in Taungtha Township in Mandalay Region, Tatmadaw doctors and nurses from the Central Command reached to provide necessary healthcare to the patients in Wai Laung hospital in Taungtha Township, and they were welcome by about 500 locals.
Veteran members in Taungtha Township and residents donated 1 million kyats, and officials from the Kyaukpadaung Battalion donated foods to the hospital. Officials from respective commands also inspected the hospitals’ medical services and comforted the patients by providing food aids and necessary things. Locals are reportedly satisfied with the medical support undertakings of Tatmadaw. — MNA
