Ministry of Information holds meeting for voter education

A coordination meeting on disseminating voter education, in regard to the upcoming multi-party General Elections of 2020, was organized at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Firstly, Union Minister for Information, Dr Pe Myint, delivered the opening address.
This was followed by Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung explaining the television and radio broadcasting preparations for the disseminating voter education.
Next, officials from the Information and Public Relations Department, Printing and Publishing Department, and News and Periodicals Enterprise explained the respective preparations assigned to their departments.
Deputy Minister for Information U Aung Hla Tun then provided suggestions on the voter education programme.
Afterwards, the Union Minister discussed adhering to the media-related directives set by the Union Election Commission, ensuring the songs related to the election, educational programmes and interviews interesting, and making preparations for them to be ready as early as possible.
