Fake news posted that security forces and PNO members shot and drove away IDPs in Pinlaung Township, Shan State (South).
Regarding the news, according to an official from Pinlaung Township, the news that security forces and PNO Pa-O people’s militia shot and drove away IDPs with heavy weapons was just misinformation and a mistake.
Tatmadaw and departmental officials are working with true humanity to provide necessary healthcare, including proper care and support to temporarily displaced people.
The news was fabricated to sow discord between security forces and people. — MNA/KZL
