MITV’s short video chosen for Gold Medal in 3rd ASEAN-China Friendship and Cooperation Short Video Contest

MITV of the Ministry of Information entered the competition under the title “Millennia Pauk-Phaw Friendship” in the third ASEAN-China Friendship and Cooperation Short Video Contest held by the People’s Republic of China. It has been nominated for the Gold Medal (first prize) and award-winning videos have been posted on the competition organization’s website from 4 to 9 November for the public to view and criticize them.
The third ASEAN-China Friendship and Cooperation Short Video Contest was held jointly with China’s Mission to ASEAN, the Permanent Mission of Myanmar to ASEAN, the ASEAN Secretariat, the Wuxi municipal government, and other government departments and organizations.
Contesting videos were judged by a 10-member panel from the People’s Republic of China and ASEAN countries. Myanmar has been selected for the Gold Medal. For the silver award, China and Laos-China cooperation videos were selected. For the bronze award, Malaysia, Singapore-China and Cambodia-China videos were awarded respectively. In addition, 15 excellent awards were chosen and awarded. The award ceremony of the competition will be held on 16 November online at 3 pm Beijing standard time.
MITV participated in the competition last year and won the Excellent Award. — MNA
