Well-wishers donate cash for the plan to provide school uniforms and stationeries.

U Aye Kyu Lay, Vice-Chairman of the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization (MMPO), announced that donations are being collected for a programme to provide school uniforms and stationeries to the children of MMPO members.
MMPO members with school-age children must submit necessary documents, including copies of their membership card, household registration, and school endorsements, to apply for assistance.
“This programme has been a long-standing tradition. Since 13th May, members of the film industry have been generously donating cash for this cause almost daily,” said U Aye Kyu Lay.
So far, actress May Panchi has donated K200,000, the Mingaladon Cinemas Group K1 million, the Aungthiri film producer K100,000, and the Bago Region Video Group K200,000. — TWA/MKKS
