MNHRC inspects Shwe Than Lwin Home for Aged

An inspection team led by Myanmar National Human Rights Commission members U Kyaw Soe and Dr Than Myint carried out the inspection at Shwe Than Lwin Home for Aged located in Dagon (Seikkan) Township, Yangon Region, on 3 February.
The inspection team inspected the situation of fundamental human rights of the elders who dwelled at the home for aged, healthcare services, providing the food, purified drinking water, freedom of religion, livingness situation in the home, and providing of easily move in the building and recreation places.
The team warmly encouraged 72 elder persons who are looked after at the home for aged.
The finding of inspection and suggestions of the team during the inspection visit of the commission are send to relevant organization to do the necessary work.—MNA/KZL
