MNHRC inspects Yangon’s School For Children with Disabilities

On 9 August 2024, the inspection team, led by U Kyaw Soe and Dr Than Myint, Members of the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission (MNHRC), inspected the School For Children with Disabilities in Mayangon Township, Yangon Region, in accordance with Sections 43 and 44 of the Commission Law.
The inspection team inspects whether the disabled children who are trained in the school can get fundamental rights, including healthcare services, food supply, provision of purified drinking water, the status of classrooms and training for development in physical, intellectual and character of children with disabilities and preparation to continue their education.
MNHRC will inform the relevant department of its findings and recommendations for necessary actions in accordance with the MNHRC law. — MNHRC
