MoBA Union Minister receives Indian Ambassador

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung met Ambassador of India to Myanmar Mr Abhay Thakur at the meeting hall of the Union Minister’s office yesterday afternoon.
They cordially exchanged views on the development of border areas, human resource development of ethnic youths in border areas, implementation to the development of the socioeconomic life of the ethnic people in the border areas, stability and development of the border regions of the two countries, the Myanmar-India border region development project according to the MoU signed by the two countries, the successful development of the projects implemented in Chin State and Naga Self-Administered Zone with India’s aid fund and outcomes, signing of a new MoU for the border region development project, the development of the border regions of the two countries and the issues related to further cooperation in various sectors. — MNA/TS
