MoC Deputy Minister inspects construction of EV charging stations

Deputy Minister for Construction U Win Pe and party inspect the drainage system on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway.

Chairman of the Operation of Electric Vehicles and Infrastructure Implementation Committee Deputy Minister for Construction U Win Pe inspected the location for the charging station to be built by Yangon Aerodrome Co Ltd at Yangon International Airport yesterday.
Responding to the explanation by the person in charge, the deputy minister instructed responsible personnel to obtain approval from the steering committee if different from the prescribed design, to ensure no delay for basic facilities to be ready when electric vehicles are used.
The deputy minister also inspected the construction of the charging station under construction by Myanmar Brilliance Auto Co Ltd at Aung Mingala Express Bus Terminal and gave necessary instructions.
Next, the deputy minister and party inspected the charging station under construction by Earth Renewable Energy Co Ltd at Milepost 1/0 on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway. He also viewed the completion of the traffic island drainage system of the Under Pass at the intersection between the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway and Milepost 32/1 of the bypass of Bago.
In the afternoon, the deputy minister and party inspected the construction of the charging station at Milepost 115/0 Phyu bus rest stop, the completion of the traffic island drainage system at Milepost 132/0 Under Pass, and the strength and capability condition of the Parami Bridge at Milepost 174/3 on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway. In the evening, the deputy minister and party inspected the construction of the charging station at Milepost 201/0 Nay Pyi Taw C-junction, the entrance road to the Maravijaya Buddha Image from the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway Milepost 204/0, and greening work along the road and roadsides. — MNA/TS
