MoC holds central committee meeting on copyright

Union Minister Dr Pwint San chairs the MoC central committee meeting on copyright yesterday.

The Ministry of Commerce held the meeting to discuss matters to be taken by the Central Committee on Copyright under the Copy Law of the Department of Copyright, completion status, and matters to be continued yesterday morning in Nay Pyi Taw.
At the meeting, Union Minister Dr Pwint San said the Department of Copyright was formed in December 2020. Work is underway to implement the four copyright laws, adding the need to coordinate as necessary between departments. The needed measures will be taken to enforce copyright laws and trademark registrations, as well as human resources, office building and budget will be provided.
The meeting also discussed implementing the four copyright laws, drafting rules, forms for trademark registration, fees and legal enforcement, and the Union Minister coordinated the meeting as necessary.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister, the Permanent Secretary, the Deputy Permanent Secretary, Directors-General and officials. — MNA
