MoC honours Tatmadaw and frontline security forces with supplies

Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn views round the preparation for the ministry’s donations yesterday.

Volunteers from the Ministry of Commerce visited the Nay Pyi Taw Command headquarters on 3 August and handed over K10 million worth of food and K10 million in cash, totalling K20 million, to the security forces who are making sacrifices for the State’s defence and security duties on the frontline.
The ceremony for handing over the donated items was held at Paunglaung Avenue in Nay Pyi Taw Command and was attended by Commander Maj-Gen Soe Min, Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn, and officials. Nay Pyi Taw Command Commander Maj-Gen Soe Min received the donation, presented a certificate of honour, and expressed his gratitude.
They provided foodstuffs, such as fried sauce, canned fish, packets of instant noodles, coffee, tea, biscuits, and wafers. Additionally, they sent messages of encouragement to the frontline security forces, wishing them safety and victory in their battles. — MNA/TKO
