MoC Union Minister attends conclusion of BIMSTEC Business Conclave

Union Minister U Aung Naing Oo from the Ministry of Commerce attended the closing ceremony of the BIMSTEC Business Conclave as the guest of honour. The event took place in Kolkata, Republic of India, from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm local time.
During the valedictory session, Minister of State of India Dr Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Mr Tenzin Lekphel (Secretary-General of the BIMSTEC countries), Mr Mehul Mohanka (President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce), and U Moe Kyaw Aung (Myanmar Ambassador to India), along with diplomats from emerging countries, delivered speeches.
Additionally, the Union minister participated in two forums, namely the “Textiles and Garments” forum and the “Financial Inclusion, Technology, and Regulatory Framework” forum, held at 10 am local time in India.
At the Textiles and Garments Forum, Daw Khine Khine Nwe, General Secretary of UMFCCI, joined as a panalist and at the Financial Inclusion, Technology, and Regulatory Framework Forum, Daw Chaw Khin Khin, General Secretary of the Myanmar Women’s Entrepreneurs Association, joined as a panellist. — MNA/TS
