MoC unveils first copyright registration agent course in Jan 2024

The coordination meeting on drafting bylaws for registration of rights related to literature and arts was conducted in August 2022.

The Ministry of Commerce is organizing the first session of the Copyright Registration Agent Course, scheduled to take place over eight days starting 8 January 2024.
Individuals interested in participating in the course should download the application form from ipd.gov.mm and submit it to [email protected] by 26 December 2023. The course fee is K300,000, and the list of approved participants will be published on ipd.gov.mm on 2-3 January.
Participants who meet the eligibility criteria must complete the course and pass the qualification examination to obtain the certificate of completion. It’s emphasized that individuals aspiring to work as copyright registration agent should not be government employees.
