The Capacity-building Workshop on Scaling up Digital Connectivity for MSMEs Resilience in Myanmar was held on 19 September in Nay Pyi Taw.
Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development will link with Mekong-Lancang Cooperation countries and other development partners to enhance the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through appropriate platforms, Union Minister for the MoCRD highlighted at the Capacity-building Workshop on Scaling up Digital Connectivity for MSMEs Resilience in Myanmar held on 19 September.
“MSMEs play a pivotal role in the economic development of the country. The departments concerned need to provide financial and technical assistance and assist in market exploration. The ministry is committed to moving forward to the development of the cooperative sectors and SMEs, and the sustainable growth in the socioeconomy of the rural community to help improve the development of the country,” he emphasized.
“The ministry has been conducting awareness campaigns of the MSMEs development and industrial products expo and technical dialogue. This workshop aims to boost digital literacy skills for the MSMEs in Myanmar and realize the crucial role of digital connectivity in their efforts to bolster MSMEs,” he added. — TWA/EM
