MoE conducts surprise fuel station inspections with mobile labs

The Petroleum Products Supervision and Inspection Department of the Ministry of Energy is conducting surprise checks at filling stations using Mobile Fuel Lab vehicles to ensure compliance with quality standards and accurate measurements for the benefit of the public.
A total of 261 petrol stations across various regions and states were examined by the Mobile Fuel Lab vehicle during the 2023-2024 financial year.
Additionally, quality and measurement tests will be undertaken at 360 petrol stations in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, and Mandalay Regions, as well as 600 filling stations in other regions and states. From April to June, a total of 345 fuel stations were checked for quality and measurement. — MNA/TRKM
