Ministry of Electricity and Energy held a press conference about the exemption (free) of domestic consumption of electricity bill (up to 150 units) for April 2020 during the period of preventing and controlling Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) yesterday afternoon.
At the conference, Deputy Permanent Secretary U Soe Myint from MoEE explained the public announcement for the exemption (free) of electricity bill on 7 April, the situation of electricity consumed by public during this summer, collecting the electricity bill, observance of civil services personnel from sub-power stations and power plants of MoEE during this period in accordance with the health guidelines of Ministry of Health and Sports, future plan for electricity production and distribution.
