U Lwin Oo, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mr Bibekananda Bhattamishra, Consul-General of the Consulate-General of the Republic of India in Sittway, Rakhine State, who has completed his tour of duty, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the call, the deputy minister commended the Indian consul-general’s contributions towards further strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation during his tour of duty in Sittway. They cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the promotion of traditional bonds of friendship and continued collaboration in the implementation of the Kaladan Multi-modal Transit Transport Project as well as Rakhine State Development projects. — MNA
