MoH Union Minister receives UNOPS Country Director

Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win received Ms Sara Austin Netzer, Country Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), and the delegation in the ministry’s office, Nay Pyi Taw, yesterday.
Both sides discussed using the Global Fund managed by the UNOPS in cooperation with the Ministry of Health for control of HIV/STD, tuberculosis and cooperation in malaria control measures, maternal and reproductive healthcare funded by the Access to Health Fund, nutrition development, primary healthcare, healthcare cooperation in emergencies, continued cooperation and requirement to ensure that unauthorized persons must not use funds. — MNA/TS
