Mohnyin authorities supply water to rural people from natural spring

Water supply tasks are being carried out in Mohnyin Township with spending K 9 million allotted by Kachin State government.
Water that flows down from forests on hills is being supplied to Ywathitgon, Kandawgon and Nyaungkantha village in the township.
“Water from a natural stream that flows from the forest eastern part of Mohnyin is being collected at a 4,800-gallon-capacity water tank in Ywathitgon Village through water pipelines.  After that, water is being supplied sufficiently to the local people of over 500 houses,” said a village administrator.
