Mohnyin’s LED light festival packed with visitors

The first LED light festival attracted many visitors on 8 November at 6 pm in Mohnyin Township, Kachin State, under the arrangement of LJ Company. At the opening ceremony U Tin Aye, a State Hluttaw representative, and officials from various departments were present.

“The LED light festival is aimed to display the art of Myanmar cultures and traditions using lights, and visitors can enjoy the lights during the Tazaungdaing holidays”, said U Ye Myint, Managing Director of L J Company.“Most towns hosted the light festival. It was the second time for the celebration in Kachin State. Before this festival in Mohnyin Township, Bhamo first held the festival in Kachin State on 16 October,” he added.
The entrance fees are set at K1,000 for children and K2,000 for adults. Children under 5-year old are free of charge. Moreover, there is no charge for religious persons and people with disablilities.
