Union Minister for Health and Sports Dr Myint Htwe visited the COVID-19 vaccination centres in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The Union Minister and party visited the 1,000-bedded Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital and the Midwifery Training School to inspect the vaccination programme. Daw Aye Mu Mu, a senior nurse from the 1,000-bedded Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital, was recorded as the first person who got vaccinated COVID-19 in Myanmar at 8 am. As of evening, on 27 January, 30,551 health workers have been vaccinated, and the remaining health workers and volunteers will receive the vaccine in coming days. — MNA (Translated by Maung Maung Swe)
