MoHT Union Minister conducts fieldwork on tourism development in Yangon

The MoHT Union Minister views inside the Yangon International Airport.

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr Htay Aung went to the Yangon International Airport to inspect tourist information counters opened by the ministry in the international and domestic arrival buildings.
The director-general of the Yangon Region Hotels and Tourism Directorate explained the opening of tourist information counters and preparations for the arrival of foreign tourists. The Union minister instructed officials to take special care to provide the necessary information to the tourists and provide good services as the international airlines will resume from 17 April.
Afterwards, the Union Minister cordially met responsible persons from the immigration counter, the Customs Department, and the Department of Public Health at the airport and urged them to work together to facilitate international tourists’ arrival. — MNA
