MoHT Union Minister opens virtual reality tour gallery in Bagan

The Virtual Reality Tour Gallery is opened in Bagan.

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr Htay Aung, together with administration officials and chairman of the Hotelier Association (Bagan Zone), cut the ribbon to open the Virtual Reality Tour Gallery at the Bagan Information & Training Centre (BITC) yesterday.
During his tour to Bagan, the Union minister also met with officials and staff from the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism in the Bagan-NyaungU region at the BITC and underlined the need to comply with the rules and regulations issued by relevant ministries, to take special care not to damage the appearance and image of the ancient culture during the development work as well as not to obscure the ancient cultural image when planting trees for the greenery of Bagan.
Afterwards, the Union minister attended the Hotels and Tourism Development Meeting with officials from relevant departments, organizations and the Hotelier Association (Bagan Zone) and made necessary instructions. After the meeting, the Union minister presented the National Certification Cards under the Enchanting Myanmar Health & Safety Protocol to the hotels which have been allowed to reopen under the COVID-19 rules and regulations, and officials from the Aureum Palace Hotel & Resort and Popa Mountain Resort Hotel received the certificates. An official handed over the regional-level certificates to the chairman of the Hotelier Association (Bagan Zone).
In the afternoon, the Union minister arrived in Taunggyi and met the director and officials of the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism in Shan State. During the meeting, the Union minister urged them to work together with relevant departments, private entrepreneurs and the people for the long-term sustainability of the Inlay Lake, which is a natural heritage and a tourist attraction in Shan State. The Union minister highlighted the need to get rid of water hyacinth waste in the lake and to mobilize entrepreneurs and the local people to make them natural fertilizers. — MNA
