MOI delegation departs for Japan observation trip

A delegation from the Ministry of Information led by Union Minister Dr Pe Myint departed for Japan yesterday.
The trip will focus on film studios and academies, film libraries, museums, archive centres, and media agencies, film services and production companies. They will also attend the Tokyo International Film Festival.

The Union Minister was seen off at Yangon International Airport by Japanese Ambassador Mr Ichiro Maruyama, Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung and MoI officials.
The MOI delegation consists of the IPRD Director-General U Ye Naing, Film Promotion Division Director U Thein Naing, MRTV Deputy Director Daw Thillar Soe, NPE Editor Daw Khin Yadanar, Myanmar Movie Picture Organization Chairman U Zin Wine, Director A One U Thein Htut, Save Myanmar Film Director U Okkar, Third Floor Film & Festival Service Director U Theikdi and Daw Thu Thu Shein.—MNA
