MoI officials and comedians provide relief to flood victims in Pyinmana Township

MoI relief donations are in progress yesterday in Pyinmana Township.

On the morning of 17 September, U Win Kyaw Aung, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information, and his team visited temporary relief camps at Thukha Soe Hotel and Ohntaw Monastery in Pyinmana Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory. They donated foodstuffs and other essentials to those battered by the floods.
At Thukha Soe Hotel, they provided food for 400 flood victims housed at the nursing home within the hotel compound. At the Ohntaw Monastery, they supplied food to 600 flood-stricken people.
During the donation ceremony, Dain Daung, Chairman of the Myanmar Comedian Association (Central), and Ohn Thee, an Academy Award-winning comedian, also contributed financial aid and offered words of encouragement to flood victims. — MNA/TMT
