MoI Union Minister attends MRTV’s Friday Night Show

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, along with the cultural attaché and members of the Embassy of the Russian Federation, attended the “International Songs” performance by the MRTV Orchestra at the Friday Night Show programme held at Myanma Radio and Television’s Studio A on Pyay Road, Yangon, yesterday evening.
The Union minister and Ms Anastasia Solovieva, cultural attaché of the Embassy of the Russian Federation to Myanmar, along with her delegation, were welcomed by the Chairman of the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization, as well as by officials and vocalists.
Ms Anastasia Solovieva and her delegation then awarded cash prizes to the artists of the MRTV orchestra.
Furthermore, the Union minister presented commemorative gifts to Ms Anastasia Solovieva and her delegation. Afterwards, the Union minister and Ms Anastasia Solovieva, along with her delegation, greeted the artistes of the MRTV orchestra and posed for a commemorative photo.
To entertain the public, MRTV will broadcast the Friday Night Show at 9:00 pm every Friday. The programme will feature modern music, including international music and music from ASEAN countries, and will be aired on MRTV HD. In addition to being available on the MRTV Telegram channel and the MRTV app, it will also be broadcast on various social media platforms. — MNA/TH
