MoI Union Minister inspects practice session of State Orchestra for dinner party of Diamond Jubilee Independence Day

Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn views the State Orchestra which is practising for the dinner party of Diamond Jubilee Independence Day.

Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn of the Ministry of Information enjoyed the practice session of the State Orchestra, which will perform entertainment at the dinner to mark Diamond Jubilee Independence Day, at MRTV on Pyay Road in Yangon yesterday.
First, the Union minister watched the MNSO Overture opening music of the State Orchestra, signing part of songs “Achit Bal Ka Sa” and “Ahla Thitsar Tayar” composed by pianist Hla Htut and X Conon D Major music section.
Then, the Union minister said Diamond Jubilee Independence Day which falls on 4 January 2023 is a significant day for the country. This is the very first-time performance of the State Orchestra at the dinner party which is one of the grand events. Therefore, the individuals and the whole troupe should play the musical instruments harmoniously. In addition to individual study and collective practices, the State Orchestra should prepare to start from the costumes.
He then provided cash awards to the members of the orchestra.
Moreover, the Union minister inspected the medals and certificates of honour displayed at the ground floor of MRTV to be presented to the winners of the “Tu Shin Hnwal Pyaw Gita Pwal Taw” Season 2. — MNA/ KTZH
