
The second-day session of the National-level Political Dialogue for ethnic Mon people was held in Ye Township, Mon State, yesterday.
Group discussions were held during the dialogue. Proposals on the fundamental principles of the political sector were discussed at the National Stadium of Ye Town; proposals on the fundamental principles of the social sector to build a federal union and proposals on the fundamental principles of the federal economy were discussed at No.(1) Basic Education High School in Ye Town. Proposals on the principles of the farmland and the environmental sector were discussed at the Tapalin Nasu Dhammayone.
The three-day dialogue will be held until 7 May, and the 500 representatives in attendance will discuss the four sectors, as designated by the Union Peace Dialogue Joint Committee.—State IPRD
