Monks, nuns, civil service personnel get immunized against COVID

Tatmadaw has been working together with civilian doctors who did not participate in the CDM campaign to conduct COVID-19 immunization across the country.

On 15 and 16 March, the vaccination was conducted to the people over the age of 65, including monks, nuns and civil service personnel in Lashio, Laukkai, Taunggyi, Ayethayar, Hopong, Kalaw, Aungban, Pinlaung, Pindaya, Ywangan, Langkho, Kunhing, Mongnai, Maukmai, Loilem, Namsang, Kengtawng, Kengtung, Tachilek, Monghsat, Mongphyat and Mongkhat townships in Shan State; Loikaw, Demawso and Bawlake townships in Kayah State; Hmawby, Taikkyi, Hlegu townships in Yangon Region; Mandalay city, Toungoo township in Bago Region.

Chairpersons of the respective region administration councils and officials from the respective regional commands encouraged and donated offertories to the monks and nuns. —MNA
