MoPF honours 2023-2024 matric exam outstanding students, offering stipends for 2024-2025AY

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister U Win Shein presents award to a student at the ceremony to honour outstanding students in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The Ministry of Planning and Finance held a ceremony to honour outstanding students from the 2023-2024 Matriculation Exam, recognize staff achievements in respective training and competitions, and announce stipends for the 2024-2025 academic year. The ceremony took place yesterday at 9 am at the ministry.
Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister U Win Shein, Deputy Minister Daw Than Than Lin, departmental officials, award recipients, outstanding students, and their parents attended the event.
The Deputy Prime Minister first delivered a speech commending the outstanding individuals, emphasizing their achievements through determination, intellect, and perseverance. He highlighted the role of youth as architects of the nation’s future in building a modern and prosperous society. He encouraged the young attendees to dedicate their time effectively to learning and extended heartfelt gratitude to the parents for raising such exemplary children.
The Deputy Prime Minister, the deputy minister, and departmental officials presented awards to students who excelled in one to six subjects in the matriculation examination for the 2023-2024 academic year, as well as to staff members who distinguished themselves in training and sports competitions. Additionally, the ministry awarded stipends to students for the 2024-2025 AY.
Following the award ceremony, the Deputy Premier and officials greeted outstanding students and their parents. The ministry then hosted a lunch for all attendees. — MNA/TRKM
