Union Minister U Ko Ko receives Russian Orthodox Archbishop Sergiy yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko met a delegation led by His Eminence Sergiy, Russian Orthodox Archbishop for Metropolitan of Singapore and South-East Asia, yesterday afternoon in Nay Pyi Taw.
They frankly and cordially discussed matters related to the construction of a Russian Orthodox Church in Yangon and further strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries through religious and cultural cooperation.
The meeting was also attended by the deputy minister, the permanent secretary, the directors-general and responsible officials with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture. — MNA/TS
