More than 25,000 people vaccinated between 14 and 22 September in Paung

A total of 25,695 people in Paung Township, Mon State, were provided with the first dose of Sinorpharm COVID-19 vaccine between 14 and 22 September.
This is the second batch that the vaccines against the COVID-19 disease were administered to the priority groups including monks, nuns, persons with disabilities and people over the age of 55 in the township.
The vaccination has started on 14 September in the designated places in respective wards and villages in Paung Township, Thaton District, Mon State, and it will reportedly continue until 26 September.
Chairman of the Township Administration Body U Thike Htun and officials provided necessary assistance during the immunization process.
During the first batch of the COVID-19 vaccine administration, a total of 9,158 people were vaccinated in Paung Township, acc ording to the Township General Administration Department. – Wunna Maung (IPRD)/GNLM
