MoTC Union Minister inspects RTAD, Road Transport

Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San inspected functions of Road Transport Administration Department (Myintha) and No 3 Workshop of Road Transport (Mayangon) in Yangon on 11 December.
During the meeting with the officials of Road Transport Administration Department (Myintha), the Union Minister discussed appointment of employees and expansion of departmental set up if necessary amid the increasing vehicle registration and work license processes, accurate ability and reviewing of estimated budget, COVID-19 vaccination programmes for the staff, reviewing and amendment of sustainable development of department concerned based on the current organizational setup, duties and abilities and arrangements to streamline the department processes for the public.
He also stressed the needs to work hard to increase the State income and taxes, follow the regulations, law and bylaws and six oaths of civil servants and COVID-19 health rules.
In the afternoon, the Union Minister visited No 3 Workshop of Road Transport (Mayangon)and he highlighted uplift of the morale and capacity of department, safety of staff and vehicles and clearance of irregularities by strictly following the procedures.
Then, he inspected the departmental vehicles and vehicles for driving courses and instructed officials to check the strength of vehicles as usual and follow the health rules in conducting the driver training classes.—MNA
