Motorcyclist killed, family hurt, in collision with car in Salingyi

A motorcyclist was killed, and his wife and son were injured, following a head-on collision with a car near Natala junction, Salingyi town, Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region at 11 am on Friday.
According to witnesses, a car owned by the Sarnarseik social welfare association and driven by Ko Min Lwin, collided with a motorcycle travelling in the opposite direction.
The motorcycle was driven by Ko Bo Thaung from Botesu village, Salingyi township, along with his wife Ma Win Kywe and son Ye Min Maung on board. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, and the wife and son were transported to Salingyi general hospital where they were undergoing medical treatment.
The police have filed charges against vehicle driver Ko Min Lwin under Sections 337/338/304-A of the Penal Code.—U Nge (Salingyi) (Translated by Hay Mar)
