MR resumes Yangon-Bagan express, reaching Pyay station

The Yangon-Bagan express trains No 61 up and No 62 down resumed their services to the Pyay station on 20 August, according to the Myanma Railway.
The Yangon-Bagan train departs from the Yangon Central Railway Station at 9 pm every day and the train will depart from the Pyay station at 7:30 am. The route was closed during the Covid-19 period and restarted its operation to the Pyay station on 20 August.
In the Yangon-Pyay section, the scheduled time of the up and down trains has been slightly modified starting from 20 August; the service will be moved from the Kyimyindine station to Pyay station. Therefore, the train will be reached from the Pyay station to the Kyimyindine station.
Tickets are set at K6,450 for the upper class and K3,250 for the ordinary class and six up/down trains are running in the Yangon-Pyay section. — TWA/GNLM
