MR to provide train services in Thingyan period

To assist large numbers of passengers and departmental staff travelling in the Thingyan period Myanma Railways under the Ministry of Transport and Communications will conduct the Yangon-Nay Pyi Taw-Yangon, Nay Pyi Taw-Mandalay-Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon-Mawlamyine-Yangon training services as following dates and time.

The Yangon-Nay Pyi Taw-Yangon train will stop at Toe Kyaung Kalay, Bago, DaikU, Nyaunglaybin, Kyauktaga, Kanyutkwin, Pyu, Toungoo, Yedashe, Yeni, Ela and Pyinmana railway stations.
The Nay Pyi Taw-Mandalay train will stop at every station. The Yangon-Mawlamyine-Yangon train will stop at Toe Kyaung Kalay, Bago, Waw, Thein Zayet, Mote Palin, Kyaik Katha, Kyaikto, Mayangon, Taung Soon, Hnin Pale, Thein Seik, Thaton, Yin Nyein and Paung stations.
Passengers can buy upper-class tickets for No (8) down train for 13 April and No (7) up train for 19 April three days in advance while ordinary-class tickets one day in advance. The departmental staff can buy tickets with application forms. — MNA
