Myanmar advance to quarterfinal in ISTAF World Cup 2024


The last match of the group in the ISTAF World Cup 2024 took place in Malaysia on 20 May when the Myanmar team sailed into the quarterfinals in the regu event.
Myanmar beat Japan 2-0 in the last group match in the regu event. On 19 May, Myanmar won over India in the first match of the group. So, Myanmar secured the first position in the group and advanced to the quarterfinals. Matches of quarterfinals and semifinals will take place on 21 May. So, Myanmar has to play against India in the double regu event and Indonesia in the regu event. — Shine Htet Zaw/TTA
