Myanmar and Bangladesh forge defence sector collaboration for regional peace and stability

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepts Credentials from Ambassador-designate of Bangladesh to Myanmar

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepted the Credentials from Ambassador-designate of Bangladesh to Myanmar Dr Md Monwar Hossain at the Credentials Hall of the SAC Chairman Office in Nay Pyi Taw at 10 am yesterday.
They cordially discussed diplomatic relations, cooperation and friendly ties between the two countries, promotion of bilateral trade, bilateral cooperation in combatting illegal trade and drug trafficking in border regions, repatriation of displaced persons, collaboration in the defence sector to ensure regional peace and stability, cooperation in reconstruction for loss and damage in impacts of Cyclone Mocha, and political progress in Myanmar. — MNA/TTA
