Myanmar and Ethiopia to enhance bilateral ties and cooperation

Ambassador-designate of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Myanmar presents his Credentials to SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepted the Credentials of Ambassador-designate of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Myanmar, Mr Daba Debele Hunde, at the Credentials Hall of the Office of the State Administration Council Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw at 10 am yesterday.
They cordially discussed the promotion of government-to-government cooperation, including diplomatic relations, culture, education, agriculture, health, tourism and sports sectors between the two countries, the political progress of Myanmar, and preparations to hold a free and fair multiparty democratic general election.
Also present at the meeting were SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Ministry 2 of the SAC Chairman’s Office U Ko Ko Hlaing and Director-General U Zaw Tun Oo of the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. — MNA/TTA
